We will see ancient Roman ruins and the largest archaeological park in Croatia based in Salona , ancient city located just 15 min from Split.
This tour is perfect for all history and archaeology fans who don’t let go of their passions during holiday. Salona was ancient town with around 60 000 inhabitants.
We will visit Salona and have a tour around old town of Salona. This will give you opportunity to learn more about history of Split as well as this area. Later on, we will explore sights around Solin like Gašpine mlinice – old mills from 18th century, see old Hollow Church and even source of river Jadro – river which provides water to Split area.
